Brain Freeze Poverty

Brain Freeze Poverty

Do you have your ticket? Have you bought your seat? Are you ready to go? Have you been sitting on ready just waiting for the streamlined silver bullet of success to show up at your door step? The truth is: for all of our lives, we have been preparing and been made ready for the inevitable train that would carry us to this sort of glory. I am not talking about the hereafter, either. I am talking about the glory that is associated with pure unadulterated passionate artistic living, now!
What we have been so patiently waiting for, and, for some of us NOT so patiently waiting has arrived! Yes, it is here. Some may even say we have been waiting for our ship to come in. Well, fellas, the long awaited bow of the ship peaks over the horizon and guess what? We are sailing on it!
What? I think you left me at the harbor, Paula! Not so. It happens when we are not looking. Now, why do you suppose it happens like that? In a ridiculous way, we never even imagined or expected; a way so alien to us, we could not have possibly conjured it up? It happens because we are made ready to meet ourselves in our full unabated splendor! With each inexplicable incident that has ever occurred to us, we were being fashioned for the appointed slot.
Yes, I said we were sculpted to meet the multifarious, inexplicably talented, incorrigibly artistic and unmistakably generous and incredibly passionate person we have always been but never took the time to get to know. We were too busy trying to do anything else; that usually meant working on a j.o.b. (just over broke), to concentrate on what really mattered to us.
Most especially, negating the fact it mattered enough to share it with everyone else. When we spend so much muddling time, mindless effort and disinterested inclination to do what we THINK we need to do in order to survive, the tainted, blemished result is that we develop a mindset of poverty. A Brain Freeze Poverty, in fact, that starves and paralyzes us!
Did you get it? I am talking about devoting yourself to the great work of YOU, which means giving of yourself and your innate talent without attachment or desired outcome. It is the only portion of your life that matters. Your innate seed of purpose, while breathing the almost 80% nitrogen infused atmosphere, incorporating the unlikely venture, no matter what it looks like to others remains the only thing you can or ever will do to establish your necessary rhythm of subjective meaning.
