Knowledge is not wisdom. Many things can be learned by parroting the words through books, ‘rote and drill’. But, when you have not experienced the words you are speaking, they have not evolved into wisdom. On very rare occasions, we are all offered the vitally necessary portal of expansive contradictory paths into a wilderness prepared for our eyes, only. Embrace those ineffable events without needed explanation!

Edge of the World
We all live on the edge of the world! No matter where one resides, he/she is constantly making choices; some, of which are arbitrary, some not. No matter. We still doubt ourselves, wonder if we should have done this, that or the other. The fact is: “What IS:IS!” Nothing could be any different. {Senseless to we ‘rake ourselves over the coals’ in the meantime.} We are always standing over the abyss. Isn’t that the way an artist thrives?

Caught In a Nightmare
When we do not face the emotional demons in our everyday lives, they show up in disguised forms in our dreams. When we refuse to move on when it’s time to let go, we are paralyzed by night terrors. Never is there a time when life abruptly snatches our world out from underneath us without subtle warnings all along the way. Blatant omens, signs, symbols reveal pertinent ‘neon messages’. The whirlwind passes; don’t resist the transformation.

One’s life ends in a pile of ashes or worn out boards. To honor that which is no longer appealing is a magnanimously inspiring gift life endows us with unceasingly.
